Overview 
Uywanda Peterson died after being tasered by police, who she attacked as they were conducting a drug investigation. She was unarmed during the incident. She collapsed shortly after officers shocked her in the chest, and she went into cardiac arrest. Peterson was pronounced dead 45 minutes later.
