Overview 
Police responded to a call that a girl was barricaded inside her home, police said. Police said they had received a report that an armed person had threatened to kill a family member. Police set up a perimeter around the apartment building and called crisis negotiators. Negotiations went on for six hours but then broke down. Police decided to enter the apartment and were confronted by the girl aiming a gun at them, and they shot and killed Tameika Jordan.
