Overview 
On 07-10-2011 inmate Bell became unresponsive while in the medical ward at the McLennan County Jail. Jail nursing staff performed CPR on Bell until EMT personell arrived. Bell was transported to Providence Hospital by ambulance where he was assessed by Dr. Andy Popejoy. Justice of the Peace William Martin pronounced Bell deceased at 8:24 a.m. on 07-10-2011. During his incarceration at the jail, Bell was being treated for several different medical conditions.
