Overview 
On June 13, 2018, Carencro police officers arrested and tasered 32-year-old man, identified by his family as Nathaniel McCoy, was taken off life support at Lafayette General after he was unresponsive at the hospital for days.
Carencro Police Chief David Anderson told KLFY that the circumstances surrounding McCoy's arrest had been turned over to state troopers.
