Overview 
With a bullet fired by his son still lodged in the left side of his face, Mark Flores wept on his front porch Friday and recounted the tragic chain of events. But he could tell only half the story. When his 28-year-old son, Mark Flores Jr., unexpectedly fired a gun at him, he fled to a neighbor’s home and called 911. Whatever unfolded thereafter inside his house in the 6800 block of Honeyridge Lane, Mark Flores will have to trust the deputies involved. None was wearing a camera to record the confrontation.
