Overview 
On January 29, 2014, police were called to investigate an in-progress battery in the parking lot of 670 Adams. The reporting party reported seeing a male strike a female twice.
Police arrived on scene as the male fled the area on a bicycle. Officers pursued the male and identified him and Mark Anthony Ayala, the same subject involved in the officer involved shooting on January 30.
As officers pursued Ayala, e brandished a firearm at the officers and eluded capture.
