Overview 
Not many people have experienced the week Larissa McCorkle has had. She lost two daughters in one week.
An off-duty police officer was driving the CMPD Ford Explorer south on West Sugar Creek Road when McCorkle entered the intersection from Sofley Road, investigators said. The officer hit the left side of McCorkle’s Honda Accord, police said.
McCorkle was rushed to the hospital, where she died.
