Overview 
Jose Graciano Lopez, of Edinburg, was pronounced dead by Hidalgo County Justice of the Peace Homer Jasso at 7:21 p.m. after he died inside a home on the 4000 block of Lopez Drive, Jasso said. Edinburg police spokesman Lt. Oscar Treviño said Lopez had died as a result of an officer-involved shooting about 6:45 p.m. Authorities did not release any other details surrounding his death Tuesday night.
