Overview 
A South Florida man was killed during a police-involved shooting after authorities say he apparently stabbed three people.
The Miami-Dade Police Department reports that officers responded to a domestic violence call at a Miami home Sunday and found that three females had been stabbed.
Officials say 48-year-old Joe White III tried to flee but was confronted by officers. Shots were fired, and White was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials didn't say how many officers fired or how many times White was shot.
The three victims were airlifted to a nearby trauma center. They were in stable condition Monday. The names and ages of the victims weren't immediately released by authorities.
