Jerry Foster, 31, was shot and killed during an encounter with Shreveport police on Sunday just after 1:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of San Jacinto Avenue in the Queensborough neighborhood.
He died at University Health at 2:11 p.m. Identification was made through fingerprints.
