Overview 
Officials said the man accused of killing three people, including a US marshal, has died. The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office reported Jamie Croom, 31, died early Wednesday morning at a Baton Rouge hospital. Shane Evans, an investigator with the coroner's office, said Croom was pronounced dead 12:40 a.m.
