Overview 
A Pell City robbery suspect is dead following an early morning officer-involved shooting.
Pell City Police Chief Paul Irwin says an officer responded to the Texaco on the 1800 block of Martin Street on reports of a robbery around 3:18 a.m. An officer arrived to find an armed suspect in progress of robbing the store. Despite commands from the officer, Pell City Police say the suspect ran towards the officer with a gun. At that point the officer shot and killed the suspect.
The suspect was later identified as Jackie Germaine Ragland, 32, of Pell City.

If this guy wasn’t robbing a store, he would still be alive. He got what he deserved!
