Overview 
Freddy Baez was fatally shot after two Camden County police officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the Crescent Gardens apartment complex on Tuesday, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said. A 911 caller had indicated Baez was possibly armed. Preliminary findings indicate the officers and Baez exchanged gunshots around 7 p.m. on the 3200 block of Rutledge Walk, the prosecutor's office said. Baez was pronounced dead a short time later at Cooper University Hospital, Camden. The officers' names were not released. They were placed on administrative leave pending an investigation by the prosecutor's office.
