Overview 
On July 22, 2012, at approximately 3:55am, while security staff was completing security checks, Offender Arocha was found sitting in her cell gasping for air. Offender Arocha was taken to the medical department where Offender Arocha stopped breathing while being seen by unit telemed staff. CPR was conducted by unit staff until EMS arrived and took over life saving measures. Offender Arocha was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased by medical staff.
