Overview 
Palatka police shot and killed a 41-year-old armed suspect, Datwan Keyo Lewis during a confrontation early Thursday that also involved a crash in a St. Johns River State College parking lot.
Lewis' Woodland Point apartment was less than a mile away from the shooting scene off St. Johns Avenue.
