July 2012  Two security guards who fired 17 shots at a man, hitting him three times on March 1 at an apartment complex were indicted Wednesday on charges of murder and abduction.

Indicted were Justin Wissinger, 24, and Christopher Tarbert, 32. Both were in the Montgomery County Jail late Wednesday afternoon. The guards fired their weapons into Dante Price’s car as the 25-year-old father attempted to drive away from them at Summit Square Apartments.

Montgomery County Prosecutor Mathias H. Heck Jr. said the security guards exceeded their legal authority.

October 2014  Plea bargain deals will guarantee at least three years in prison for two security guards.

 

Two security guards who killed a man two years ago as he attempted to leave an apartment complex agreed to plea deals Friday afternoon that will guarantee they spend at least three years in prison.
