Overview 
On 11/11/2006, Christina Hernandez was found dead in her jail cell at the Webb County Jail. Hernandez was found in her cell with the metal telephone cord from the pay telephone, located on the west wall of the cell, wrapped around her neck. Hernandez was facing the west wall of the cell leaning into the tension produced by the telephone cord wrapped around her, Hernandez neck. Webb County Jail personnel found that Hernandez body was already cold to the touch and found that she, Hernandez, was not breathing and no pulse for Hernandez was located. Hernandez had been the sole occupant of the jail cell for several hours before she, Hernandez, was located deceased in the above mentioned position. Texas Ranger Sergeant Robert Hunter was contacted by Webb County Sheriffs Office Major Doyle Holdridge and asked to investigate the Questionable Death of Hernandez.
