Overview 
Police said 24-year-old Chase Rosa died after officers shothim multiple times during an attempted carjacking.
According to authorities, Rosa stopped his vehicle on Apr. 21 at around 3 p.m. while holding a shotgun.
He then pointed the gun at an occupant inside a vehicle in an attempt to steal the car.
When officers arrived, Officer Tomaino ordered him to drop the gun and Rosa turned around pointing the gun at both officers, that's when both officers fired at home.
Medical personnel transported Rosa to Sunrise Trauma where he was pronounced dead.
