Overview 
Thomas Anderson with Casa Grande PD said officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call at a home near 1500 E Elegante Drive. Upon arrival, an officer was confronted by a 27-year-old male, identified as Cameron Hall, at the residence.
Anderson said Hall assaulted the officer and a physical altercation ensued. The officer used his Taser on Hall but Anderson said it was ineffective and the suspect continued striking the officer repeatedly.
The officer then fired his service weapon and struck Hall.
Hall was then transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Anderson said the officer did not suffer any major injuries. No other officers were injured during the incident.
