Overview 
NMSP say that Gallup police responded to reports of a man threatening people with a knife in the 300 block of Arnold Street.
State police say that the suspect was found with two knives and officers fired, striking the man. EMS is reported to have taken the man to Gallup Indian Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
NMSP say the events leading up to the shooting are being investigated and no other information is available at this time.
