Overview 
23-year-old Wayne Edwards II was fatally shot by a trooper during a traffic stop in Chicopee, Massachusetts
The trooper noticed the car speeding on Interstate 91 south at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday.
Police say Edwards became combative after the trooper asked for his license and registration and got into “physical altercation” with the trooper. The officer then fired his weapon, striking the man, who drove away before striking a barrier. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
