Overview 
An officer was on patrol when he heard gun shots. The officer observed an SUV fleeing the area operated by a suspect, the deceased was a front passenger in the suspect's SUV. A pursuit was initiated. The pursuit ended at the intersection of Treeline Park and W Nottingham when the driver crashed the SUV and ejected himself and the deceased. A subsequent search of the vehicle's computer system indicated the vehicle lost control at approximately 82 miles per hour. The driver nor the deceased were wearing their seat belts. A firearm was recovered at the collision scene. The driver and the deceased were transported to University Hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver succumbed to his injuries on September 11, 2015. The passenger died at University Hospital on September 14, 2015.
