Overview 
Tyrone Bass, who was shot by a St. Bernard Parish sheriff's deputy in a Chalmette incident Tuesday (Sept. 15) is dead, Louisiana State Police confirmed. A witness said the man wrestled briefly with a deputy on the ground before a second officer fired his gun several times.
