Overview 
Authorities investigating an officer-involved shooting in West Monroe have not yet identified the police officers who shot and killed an armed suspect Friday night.
Police officers first encountered Bell near the Texas Roadhouse restaurant on Basic Drive in West Monroe, after receiving a complaint of a disturbance. The complaint identified Bell and the vehicle carrying him.
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the Nov. 17 shooting.
According to an account provided by Glenn Springfield, public information officer for the Sheriff's Office, police made contact with Bell, who fired his weapon at officers. Police officers returned fire, wounding Bell.
No officers were injured. Bell died as a result from his injuries.
