Overview 
Cape Coral police say 34-year-old Rolly Thomas was killed at his home on the 1500 block of NE 43 Lane when a domestic disturbance turned violent. Officers say Thomas shot one person in the home and opened fire on police, forcing authorities to shoot back.
Legal Action
In June 2016, the Cape Coral Police Department and the State Attorney's Office found that the officer's decision to shoot Thomas was justified.
