Overview 
The Police Department has released the name of the suspect fatally shot by officers with a drug task force and other details of the incident, which happened Tuesday night in a parking lot near Starbucks and the Turlock Poker Room at a West Main Street shopping center.
The department identified the man killed by police as Omar Villagomez, 21, of Orosi in Tulare County. A news release states officers were trying to arrest Villagomez when the vehicle he was driving collided with unmarked police vehicles. “Shots were fired by police, and Villagomez was struck,” according to the release. “He was pronounced dead at the scene.”
