Overview 
On 6/21/05, Offender Julia Martinez, TDCJ-ID# 1015708, had been on the recreation yard exercising when she collapsed and began seizing. CPR was initiated and Offender Martinez was transported to the Wise County Medical Center and pronounced deceased at 5:06 pm by Wise County Justice of the Peace C. D. Archer, Precinct 4. Medical records from the hospital listed the diagnosis as Cardiopulmonary Arrest.
