Overview 
On Sunday, 19 July 2015 Inmate Janie Goodwill (SPN 00531168), died in HCSO custody at Memorial Hermann Hospital, located at 6411 Fannin, in the City of Houston, 8th floor, room 809. Inmate Goodwill was pronounced deceased by attending physician Dr. Pani at 1508 hours. Inmate Goodwill was transported to LBJ Hospital from the 1200 Baker Street Facility on 18 July 2015 at approximately 0626 hours. On 19 July 2015 Inmate Goodwill was transported by Harris County EMS to Memorial Hermann Hospital from LBJ Hospital at approximately 1318 hours. Inmate Goodwill was arrested by Houston Police Department for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Her last housing location was 4E2B, 1200 Baker Street Detention Facility. Autopsy by Medical Examiner is pending.
