Overview

Law enforcement officers were called about 4:45 p.m. to an access road that leads to a Sam's Club and Walmart just off the 9700 block of Reisterstown Road.

The vehicle at the center of this case is an Infiniti sport utility vehicle that was riddled with bullet holes in the hood, through the front windshield and a shattered driver's side window.

Authorities said a man inside the SUV was shot and killed by three federal agents. He was identified Monday as 34-year-old Jameel Harrison.

"The federal agents did open fire on the subject. The subject is deceased. One Baltimore County officer was also with the federal agents. He did not fire his weapon," Baltimore County police Cpl. John Wachter said.

A source told WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team lead investigative reporter Jayne Miller that Harrison had been wanted by the FBI for some time and that it was believed there was $100,000 worth of drugs in the car.

Witnesses who work in the surrounding businesses told 11 News the agents and the officer had the SUV cornered to the curb. When Harrison appeared to make a move to get away, the federal agents fired at least a dozen shots, according to a witness.
