Overview 
Pasco police investigate the death of a 35-year-old man who died while being placed into custody early Sunday morning.
It all started when officers responded to the Golden Nugget Night Club on the 200 block of South 4th Avenue in reference to 15 to 20 people fighting at the location.
When officers arrived, they learned that several of the people involved left the location.
A short time later, a person believed to have been involved in the altercation was located running into the area of South 8th and A Street. Police were able to detain him in the area of South 9th Avenue and B Street after a short foot pursuit. While he was being taken into custody it was discovered that he had stopped breathing. Efforts were made to resuscitate him, but officers were unsuccessful.
