A man is dead after police say he showed a gun and robbed a credit union Monday morning in Wyoming.
Police were called just before 10 a.m. to the ATL Federal Credit Union in the 800 block of 36th Street SW in Wyoming.
Grand Rapids police say a brief vehicle chase ensued, but cruisers backed off because the suspect was driving dangerously. Kentwood police located the suspect's vehicle minutes later at the Oxford Place Apartments in southeast Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids police said the Kent County Medical Examiner ruled Friday June 17, 2016, that Kelley died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head, not police gunfire.
