Overview 
On August 17, 2012, at approximately 1:30am, security staff discovered Offender Frances Reed unresponsive in her cell. Security staff notified additional staff and EMS. Life saving techniques were performed on Offender Reed until EMS arrived and took control. EMS transported Offender Reed to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased by medical staff.
