Overview 
Police were called to the 700 block of King Street just after 11 p.m. Thursday July 7, 2016 on reports of a domestic dispute. The subject, who was reportedly armed, was fatally wounded by gunfire. A female victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained during the domestic dispute.
The officer involved was treated for minor injuries.
When the investigation is complete, the findings will be given to the Dallas County District Attorney.
