Overview 
On 7/15/05 El Paso County Sheriff's Office Detectives responded to the El Paso County Detention Facility located at 601 E. Overland El Paso, TX. They responded to an unattended death. When they arrived detention officers briefed them that an inmate on the 11th floor, cellblock 20 room 2 had died. The name of the inmate was Dorothy Mae Williams. The subsequent autopsy revealed no signs of foul play. This was supported by interviews conducted with the seven other inmates and detention officers that were assigned to the floor on this date. Actual cause of death is still pending. Preliminary manner of death is natural.
