Overview 
Offender Cervantes arrived at the East Texas Treatment Facility from Bexar County Jail. Cervantes fell while trying to get back into her bunk and was transferred to Henderson Memorial Hospital. It was determined that Cervantes had intracranial bleeding and she was transferred to East Texas Medical Center, Tyler, TX. Cervantes's condition deteriorated and she was placed on a ventilator. Life support was discontinued and she was pronounced deceased.
