Overview 
A 17-year-old Purcellville youth — Christian Alberto Sierra — was shot and killed Saturday when police responded to a call for help with a suicidal person.
Virginia State Police say a town police officer arrived at the home in the 100 block of Frazer Drive in Purcellville shortly after 2 p.m. and found a 17-year-old male armed with a knife. The youth allegedly lunged at the offcer, who then shot him.
