Overview 
Dallas police say officers who shot a robbery suspect during a struggle saw he was brandishing what appeared to be a semiautomatic pistol.
Officers fatally shot 43-year-old Bertrand Syjuan Davis of Allen during an Aug. 27 confrontation after investigators said stun guns had no effect on him. Police also found a box-cutter on Davis.
The officer who shot Davis was an 11-year veteran of the force
