Overview 
On July 28, 2007, Barbara Wheaton was sent by ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital after Medical Personnel were having difficulty getting vital signs. At approximately 2350, supervision was informed that Ms. Wheaton was unresponsive and the doctor had instructed that family members be contacted for consent to perform a procedure. On July 30, 2007 at 0515, supervision was notified that Ms Wheaton had been pronounced dead at 5:07 by Dr. Johnson at John Peter Smith Hospital.
