Overview 
The Orleans Parish coroner's office has identified the man shot by an FBI agent Tuesday at a Studio 6 motel in eastern New Orleans as Allen Desdunes, 37. Desdunes died from gunshot wounds inflicted when the agent shot him during a drug surveillance operation, according to the FBI.
